More Power, More Thrills

Under the rear decklid sits a 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder boxer engine producing an impressive 473 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque, 30 hp more than the outgoing version. Borrowing intercooler technology from the 911 Turbo, this setup delivers sharper acceleration and a top track speed of up to 191 mph in the Carrera 4S Coupe. Paired with an eight-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK) and Porsche Traction Management (PTM), the AWD system sends power to all four wheels with a rear-biased setup, ready to adapt when conditions demand more grip.

Performance Upgrades You Can Feel

Each new model has a Sport Exhaust system featuring silver tailpipes, larger brakes from the previous 911 Carrera GTS, and re-tuned dampers for improved responsiveness and ride quality. Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), staggered 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels, Matrix Design LED headlights are all standard. Available options for those seeking even more capability include Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), PASM Sport Suspension with a 10 mm lower ride height, and rear-axle steering, which is standard on the 911 Targa 4S.

Comfort Meets Style Inside

The cabins receive a premium upgrade, with extended leather upholstery covering the seats, headrests, dashboard, and door panels. Wireless smartphone charging is standard, while seating configurations vary by body style. The Coupe offers a two-seat layout with optional rear seats at no cost, and both the Cabriolet and Targa come with rear seats as standard.

The 911 Targa’s 60-Year Legacy

Celebrating six decades of open-air driving, the 2026 911 Targa 4S continues the tradition of blending coupe-like comfort with convertible freedom. Inspired by motorsport, its iconic Targa bar and panoramic glass roof are instantly recognizable. The fully automatic roof mechanism, introduced in 2014, folds away in 19 seconds, with roof module colors available in black, blue, red, or brown.
