Much of this strength stems from its rear electric motor, which is shared with the Macan Turbo. This is the most powerful motor in the lineup, featuring a 230 mm rotor diameter and a 900-amp pulse inverter built with efficient silicon carbide transistors. The result is 380 kW (509 hp) of output, rising to 420 kW (563 hp) using Overboost during Launch Control. With 704 lb-ft of torque, the Macan GTS delivers rapid acceleration at any moment.  

A 100 kWh high-voltage battery supports this performance while offering quick charging. Under ideal conditions, drivers can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 21 minutes, with charging speeds of up to 270 kW. This makes everyday driving and long-distance travel more convenient. Porsche also equips the GTS with the Sport Chrono Package, which includes track endurance mode. This setting cools the battery to help delay thermal reduction, providing longer high-performance capability.  

The Macan GTS uses its advanced engineering to create a sports car-like driving feel. Rear-biased weight distribution and a low center of gravity support confident cornering. The all-wheel drive setup pairs with electric Porsche traction management for rapid power adjustments, while Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus is standard. This system utilizes an electronically controlled, limited-slip rear differential, which enhances grip during dynamic driving.  

Its air suspension is tuned specifically for the GTS. Lower ride height, GTS-specific dampers, and refined roll bar calibrations help create quick responses through corners. The optional rear-axle steering adds even more agility in tight spaces or during high-speed maneuvers. For added excitement, Porsche includes two unique Porsche electric sport sound profiles when Sport or Sport Plus mode is activated.  

Distinct styling also contributes to the Macan GTS identity. Black accent trim highlights the front, sides, and rear, while tinted LED matrix design headlights give it a sharper presence. The standard sport design package features black inlays, wheel arch extensions, side blades, and an adaptive rear spoiler lip.  

Wider rocker panels distinguish the GTS from other Macan models, and a unique lower rear fascia features a black diffuser. Standard 21-inch Macan design wheels in anthracite gray complete the look, with optional 22-inch RS Spyder design wheels available.

Inside, the 2026 Macan GTS features Race-Tex upholstery paired with black leather elements. This high-grip material is featured on the 18-way Sport Seats, the steering wheel, the center console, and the door armrests, lending the cabin a motorsport-inspired feel.  

Drivers seeking extra flair can opt for the GTS interior package, which features color-matched stitching and accents that complement the exterior paint. Options include carmine red, slate gray neo, and lugano blue interior accents paired with carbon fiber inlays. The Porsche communication management system even displays a 3D vehicle image in the selected exterior color. A GTS logo also appears in the digital instrument cluster. Many functions from the Sport Chrono Package, including lap timing and telemetry recording, can be controlled through the app interface.
